Summary: The London Gazette published 5,687 corporate distress notices in March 2025: 4,208 liquidation, 1,028 winding-up, 170 administration and 0 receivership notices. That is up 5.7% on the previous month (5,381) and up 2.8% on March 2024 (5,532).

Counts are compiled from corporate insolvency notices published in The London Gazette, excluding solvent members' voluntary liquidations (planned closures of companies that can pay their debts in full), and reflect notice volume, not the number of distinct companies: one insolvency generates several notices over its life.
