Summary: The London Gazette published 5,141 corporate distress notices in July 2023: 3,972 liquidation, 745 winding-up, 177 administration and 0 receivership notices. That is down 12.6% on the previous month (5,879).

Counts are compiled from corporate insolvency notices published in The London Gazette, excluding solvent members' voluntary liquidations (planned closures of companies that can pay their debts in full), and reflect notice volume, not the number of distinct companies: one insolvency generates several notices over its life.
