Summary: The London Gazette published 5,532 corporate distress notices in March 2024: 4,215 liquidation, 875 winding-up, 170 administration and 0 receivership notices. That is down 3.8% on the previous month (5,753) and down 15.3% on March 2023 (6,534).

Counts are compiled from corporate insolvency notices published in The London Gazette, excluding solvent members' voluntary liquidations (planned closures of companies that can pay their debts in full), and reflect notice volume, not the number of distinct companies: one insolvency generates several notices over its life.
