A classically trained international brand marketer Meadows-Smith has worked at Kelloggs’, Premier, Pillsbury and Grand Metropolitan. As Development Director Europe he was responsible for the high profile launch of Haägen-Dazs that became a business school case study. His first privately owned venture was a start-up turnaround that within 5 years earned him the accolade of Grocery Exporter of the year. Latterly he has become a hands on investor in, a dot com that is still trading, and several early stage and turnaround businesses that span business services, IT, FMCG and hospitality. In addition to K2 Business Rescue he is Chair and NED to several businesses.

Tony specialises in raising funds for turnarounds and developing businesses, and has raised in excess of £100m for his various companies. He has listed two of his companies on AIM and sold several others. Investor and director of several companies of which some are turnarounds. Current investments include Retail Profile (Europe) Ltd, Odyssey Health Clubs, Omicron Lamps, Quercus Enterprises Ltd, 4d Property Asset Management Ltd and Feonic plc. Former investments include Numerica Group plc, Softtechnet plc, IPT plc, NewMediaSpark plc, Founder and former CEO of Numerica a top 15 UK professional services firm Founder and former CEO of Softtechnet a technology fund. Former executive director of NewMediaSpark plc an AIM listed technology fund Co-founded Hamilton Bradshaw Ltd, a private equity venture capital firm with £30m of funds to invest. A former Senior Partner of Morley & Scott Chartered Accountants and member of the management board. Adviser to the Management Board of Macintyre Hudson a top 25 UK firm of chartered accountants. Chairman of Asian Business Association (part of the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry) Member of the Bank of England Small Business Panel.
